Actress Charlie Yeung Choi-nei, looking elegant in a black and white dress, presided over the opening of American jeweller and watchmaker Harry Winston's new store in Kowloon's Elements mall.

Having finished promoting director Oxide Pang Chun's thriller Sleepwalker in 3D - which premiered locally last week - in which she co-starred with best friend Angelica Lee Sum-kit, Yeung was eager to talk about gangster movie Cold War. She recently wrapped up work on the film, with co-stars including Aaron Kwok Fu-shing and Tony Leung Ka-fai.

"There's always sparks working with Aaron, and I'm really glad I got to work with Leung Ka-fai again - we haven't collaborated for many years," Yeung said on Wednesday.

"The movie has a good script, despite it being very much a man's flick. The two directors [Leung Lok-man and Lok Kim-ching] introduced to us some new movie-making approaches."

Yeung said the script motivated her to redouble efforts to finish her own script, which she had been working on for two years. Although it would take much patience and preparation to turn it into a movie, she was still keen to polish it.

Karson Choi Ka-tsan, executive director of Halewinner Watches Group, also attended the event with his family.

Asked by paparazzi if he would be tying the knot any time soon with model girlfriend Wang Yuen-yuen, he said they hadn't made any plans yet because they were still young. (SCMP) (21cn) (Eastday)
