Yeah, that EDC is definitely creepy. And what? He's only noticed Tang Wei now? Is he running out of starlets to stalk?

On a brighter note, I'll try and check out those Chen Qiang films you mentioned. I was intrigued by that photo of Magician's Adventure. I looked it up on the Web and saw it cited as China's first 3-D movie. Interesting. I'm always surprised films from that era that don't fit the stereotype of the propaganda film.

Yeah, that photo caught my eye too. Added it to HKMDB. :D Looks like it's listed as available on vcd (yesasia).

Interesting. I'm always surprised films from that era that don't fit the stereotype of the propaganda film.

That's just lazy painting with broad strokes.
